Being an IRR (Inactive Ready Reserve) Marine myself, and knowing that if it even looks like we're going to get a declaration of war I'm gonna go back, and I know most of my friends are as well, I seriously doubt there will be a draft, not unless something really serious and unforseen happens to our current forces. We have a well trained military, and in the four years that I was in, we did "more with less" consistantly, and excellently. Joining the military is a life changing decision, and if you feel you want to join, I believe that you should, but you should be prepared for what you're getting into. It's truly not a "job", but a way of life. I don't think there will ever need to be a draft for this possible war, because I think we'll have more than enough volunteers, myself included.
